Meet Jarred, our owner/operator and the man in charge! Jarred is a “Master Certified” ASE technician, along with having factory training and certifications from General Motors. Jarred’s passion for helping people is what led him to start Mason Automotive.

Unlike conventional owners of auto repair shops, Jarred started his career as a technician and sees the auto repair industry in a different light. After years of seeing how people were simply treated as just another number in most shops, he wanted to create a place where people wanted to bring their cars because it was someone they trusted. Jarred works both in the shop and in the office, overseeing his vision of being “the local mechanic you can trust.”

Making sure people are taken care of, making sure vehicles are repaired properly, and ensuring people have a vehicle they can rely on are the heart of his business. Outside of his business, Jarred is passionate about his family and is a die-hard Atlanta Falcons fan. The whole family joins in every Sunday to cheer on their beloved Falcons.

Meet Dustin, our “Subaru Guru” and lead technician. Dustin joined our team in 2021 and is our owner Jarred’s older brother. Dustin is well versed in auto repair and has 20 years of experience in the field, along with carrying his ASE Master Certification.

He has worked in dealerships for both Ford Motor Company and Subaru. His training and certifications from Subaru help us provide dealership-level service and repairs on all Subaru models. Dustin is our lead diagnostics technician and handles a lot of the tough problematic concerns that come our way. Dustins is a big Chicago Cubs fan and enjoys going to games. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.

Meet Aaron, one of our service technicians. Aaron joined our team in August of 2022 and has developed into a high-level technician! Starting from the basics and working his way up, Aaron has turned into our “workhorse” of the shop. Aaron does everything from alignments to brake repairs, complete engine replacements, and everything in between.

Don’t let his young age fool you, as this guy can do it all. Aaron is passionate about quad racing. His weekends consist of traveling the state and racing different local circuits. When he is not racing, he can usually be found riding his SXS around his property with his family and friends.

Meet Michael, our newest technician, who joined our team in March of 2024. Michael brings over 20 years of auto repair experience to our team and is also a U.S. Army veteran. Michael served our country proudly, completing multiple deployments from 2006 until 2013. Since leaving the military, Michael has worked for several Ford dealerships, both here and in Texas, along with several independent shops.

Michael carries both ASE certifications, along with a coveted “Ford Master Technician Certification.” This certification signifies one of the highest levels of proficiency inside the Ford dealership network. Michael’s meticulous work and many years of experience are invaluable to our team and help set us apart from other auto repair shops.

Meet Rick, one of our service advisors and our very first employee! Rick has been with us since we opened in March of 2021. Rick’s experience in the auto repair field is second to none. He has worked in the auto repair and car dealership industry for nearly 40 years!

Rick’s experience in the field not only helps bring you fantastic customer service but also helps translate the sometimes complicated concerns going on with their vehicle to a more comprehensible explanation. Rick’s hobbies include both dirt track and Nascar racing as well as restoring antique fans from the early 1900s. He also enjoys hosting friends and family at his home. When not at work, you can find him in the backyard overseeing the grill with the race on.
